See, the trick is, you’re not supposed to be on the bridge when you bring it down.

According to local reports, this was an Italian bridge that was set to be demolished. In order to prepare the bridge for its demolition, excavators were brought to the scene to pick apart the bridge piece by piece.

Now, if you were going to do this, where would you place the excavators? Next to the bridge? That would be the only place that would make sense, right? After all, you’re trying to make the bridge come down — you wouldn’t want to put the machines on the damn thing!

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what these construction workers did.
